Dr Mabitsela Pitso Mphasha, is a principled Pan-Africanist, Public Health Specialist, and academic. A registered Dietitian by profession, he has contributed significantly to scholarly work, with numerous academic publications to his name. Dr Mphasha hails from Brilliant Community Farm in Senwabarwana, the community he proudly leads. He is the third child of Matladi Mphasha and Machoene Mphasha (née Komape). He is married to Mrs Lebo Mphasha (née Chuene).

At the University of Limpopo, he served as Deputy President: External of the Student Representative Council (SRC), as well as Central SRC Deputy Secretary, under the banner of the Pan Africanist Student Movement of Azania (PASMA) in 2006/07. He also co-authored and edited Mayihlome, the official newsletter of PASMA at Turfloop, and later continued to edit the publication as the mouthpiece of the Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) of Azania in Limpopo.

Politically, Dr Mphasha remains a dedicated and disciplined member of the Pan Africanist Congress of Azania, since 15 March 2003. He is a former President of the PAC Youth Movement and currently serves as the Provincial Chairperson of the PAC.
